Reserhub
April 2025 - Present
Mobile Engineer Tech Lead
I lead the mobile platform squad for the B2B vertical: the architecture, shared code and delivery process Reserhub uses to ship some 20 ticketing apps for bus lines.
- Designed and led the consolidation into a Turborepo and Expo monorepo with shared packages and per-tenant configuration: the core of a platform of some 20 apps across four repositories.
- Moved the enterprise apps’ checkout funnel to a hybrid architecture — a native shell embedding the web funnel, with native bridges for session, payments and deep links — validated with an A/B test and rolled out brand by brand.
- Leading the migration of the Reservamos B2C app to the new platform with screen and analytics parity; split another branded app into its own repository, upgraded to Expo 58 and React 19.
- Consolidated onto Expo and React Native an ecosystem carrying legacy stacks (native Swift and Java, Xamarin.Forms, Flutter, old Expo), brand by brand, with screen and analytics parity, an A/B test, feature flags and staged rollouts so sales never stopped.
- Built and shipped the apps’ remote configuration admin, with an MCP server so AI agents can read and publish configurations.
- Standardized the EAS pipeline and raised monorepo test coverage from 72% to 90%, with every app in it at 100% line coverage.
- Made an AI-assisted development loop (Compound Engineering + OpenSpec) mandatory across the mobile repos, with quality and security gates and human review.
- Coordinate five engineers through weekly 1:1s, design and code reviews, ADRs, seven-week planning cycles and a full-platform learning program.
